Today, I asked my kids how much they loved me. My seven year-old responded, 'I'll love you forever mummy.' My sixteen year-old responded, 'Can you wind down the window, I just farted.' FML

You ever see that Shakespeare play where a king asks his daughters how much they love him and two of them say they love really much and the other one says she loves him "as a daughter loves a father, as he loves her" and then he banishes her and the other two turn on him. I think it was called king Lear. The point I'm making is that if you banish your 16-year old your 7-year old will gouge your eyes out.

Omg, first of all love isn't expressed in words, second you don't understand teenagers.

Whats with the totally negative image of teenagers? They're only as bad as you raise them. I've certainly never had any problems telling my parents that I love them. Its obviously the idea that they're going to react like that, that ultimately teaches them to act that way.

#64- A lot of teenagers would probably have no problem telling their parents they love them. Asking HOW MUCH they love them is just fishing for complements though.

I don't think that's a FML, I think thats HILARIOUS!

Haven't you ever read King Lear? That's just asking for disaster.

Oh please will someone explain to me how the F*** this is an FML? at least the Teen was polite enough to ask for the window to be rolled down.
