Meh stupid to comment months later but w/e. How do we know she forgot them? Maybe something happened at school and she can't wear the shoes she brought. Maybe she wore boots since it was winter and they did that stupid, "your boots are too wet to wear inside". Either way, mom shouldn't have lied since she obviously had nothing better to do.
