Today, I was working as a host at a pasta diner. The hostess I was working with was very attractive and we were flirting quite a bit. A large woman walked in to be seated, and I leaned over to her and dared her to ask the woman if she wanted two chairs. She leaned back and said, "That's my mom." FML

Today, I went to a restaurant with some friends. I noticed a very cute waitress about my age, so I walked over to her and asked if she had a boyfriend. The extremely fit, attractive waiter standing next to her immediately turned, held out his hand and goes, "Yeah. Meet me." FML

Today, I asked a girl at the restaurant I work at if she'd had enough to eat. When she said yes, I said, "Are you sure?" I didn't realize how insulting it sounded until her equally overweight mom was up in my face, demanding to see my manager. FML

Today, I went out to eat with friends. My crush was also at the restaurant with his friends. He smiled at me as I took a mouthful of food, and I choked. The waitress had to perform the Heimlich maneuver on me, while he and his friends fell off their chairs laughing. FML

I'm 4'11 too and I get made fun of all the time. Except if your old enough to have a boyfriend and go out with each other then im sure that you look like a woman and she was just being a bitch and making fun of you. And being 4'11 isn't a midget its 4'9 or 4'10 and under. Also I would rather be a short girl instead of a tall girl because towering over your boyfriend/husband just looks weird.

I would have punched her in the face. I'm 5' and where I live that's not super short, and a lot of the guys here prefer short girls. I think it's only in places where people are mostly white and or black that being short is considerd a bad thing. In the town next to mine every one is mexican so when I go there to buy clothes I'm actually taller than a lot of the people there, same with towns that have a lot of asians. Plus it's better to be short and petite than tall and manly.

So...Yeah the last thing i would be described as, is a man.....You are so stupid you can try make yourself feel better but you're only 5"0, so yeah I feel so sorry for you.... And guys do prefer taller chicks( then 5"5, because it's so awkward) and they know it... And personnally I prefer shorter guys, thry are so hot, I would def. Pick a guy 5'5 then a guy 6'3 but that's jus me I guess ( and everybody does have there own preferences)

I was 4'11" in 5th grade, and am currently about 5'1", the height of my 18 year old cousin. If you were 4'11" when you were 2, I would assume that you're 10 feet tall by now, so good luck getting anyone, bitch:)

I am 4'9'' and my boyfriend is 6' so don't worry :D more people think my dad is my boyfriend because I come from a short family and my dad looks young.
