People here are so unsympathetic. :( I'm sorry for you, OP, that really sucks. Before I go on trips, I always get nervous about forgetting something. If I ever do forget something, it's usually nothing terribly important, but especially a big trip like that, you have so many things running through your mind, it's easy to let something slip like that. Maybe you could get someone back in NY to overnight the key to you? Or could you buy another bike lock there in Boston?
