Today, I was proudly telling my husband that I only gained 8 lbs throughout the pregnancy thus far. I usually obsess over my weight, so it was a great accomplishment for me. He then turned and pinched my arms, saying, "Well, looks like all the fat migrated to your arms." FML

Well, you should have thought of that before getting pregnant. Honestly, you need to get over it. You're going to gain weight if you're carrying.

It's healthy to put on weight during pregnancy. YDI for caring more about your weight than your baby.

You're pregnant, god damn it. Accept that you're gonna gain weight.

You should never be ashamed of gaining weight while pregnant. A woman is supposed to gain 20-25 during a pregnancy. This is because a woman needs extra food and also produces more fluid to sheild the baby and the mom's joints to support the extra weight. Trying to keep weight gain down is only going to hurt your body and the baby when it doesn't get enough fat to develop.

Not to mention the 7 or so lbs. of baby towards the end! :)

tbh i think your arms look disgusting

a healthy weight gain during pregnancy is 20-25 pounds. eat healthy foods and try to relax while you're making that baby

Someone else got close with a question about emotional abuse, but can't you all see what's going on here? The husband knows exactly what to say to make her feel bad about herself, and he doesn't have the conscience to not use that talent even when she is carrying his baby. By calling herself "fatpreggo," we can all see that she hates herself and found a lowlife son-of-a-bitch that is all too happy to beat her down like she thinks she deserves. **** her life, but not because of the batwings, but because she will constantly be humiliated by her asshole husband. Her fetus has a nice big FML waiting for him or her at birth.

NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO ACKNOWLEDGE MY WEIGHT IN A NEGATIVE WAY.

You need to not be so worried about wight gain for appearance reasons while you're pregnant. You need to focus on what is healthy weight gain for the baby, don't be a dunb ass.

hey, don't let it bother you. my mom was anorexic for the first 5 months she was pregnant with me...it's a miracle i made it out alive! so screw your husband, your kid is what counts. believe me, there's things a lot more important than gaining or losing a few pounds, and your kid will thank you!
