YDI for leaving a 4 year old alone.
So...what happened?
Why six? Still it's a simple point of somehow it cooks from the inside out your name is no longer a question
They don't cook from the inside out- that is a common misconception. The water within the egg heats and expands, and as the holes in the shell (and membrane, once it solidifies) are not large enough to vent the steam quickly enough, the pressure reaches the point that the egg ruptures. Basic science. The fact that people honestly believe that microwaves cook things from the inside out is very alarming.
Anyone whose bitten into food with a warm outside and cold inside would know that. Trolling level microwave
There where probably six left in the package.
Talk out the scientific process with him. As well as science safety! But don't crush his curiosity. Test me many children now a days lack it.
What happened??
I did that with marshmellow peeps once as a kid. They make horrid s'mores...
I've always wondered that myself

Sounds like a great opportunity to teach him to clean a microwave.
The wonder of having small kids.. Good luck with that clean up!
