Brain fart

Today, the speakers on my laptop weren't working. I worried I'd broken something, and started freaking out. I restarted my computer numerous times and played with the settings for an hour before calling my sister in to help. She looked at it for two seconds, then unplugged my headphones. FML

today I was going to use my new computer and I started it up then on the screen it said to press "any key" I spend all day trying to find the "any key" so then my bro walks in and presses some key, and it worked :) till   this day I still can't find the "any key" so I never turn off my computer.

I've done this before. But it only took me like 10 seconds to figure it out. I'm a little slow in the mornings.

op how did you find your way to this site...? did you expect sympathy or did you just want a bunch of random strangers to confirm that you are indeed in need of more education?

Haha, good one. Yeah I tend to do things like this occasionally, I'll be talking on the phone with my girlfriend but frantically looking for my phone, then I'm like wait a minute... Or one time driving home from school I was like omg I lost my keys, after about 10 seconds of frantic searching it hit me that I was driving. So I can understand where you're coming from. When I look to fix something I usually look at the simple options first, ie. Is it plugged in (or in your case NOT plugged in) and things of that nature.
