Brain freeze

Today, I was working my job as a waitress near my college. I handed a customer her check, and she noticed that I had added her bill wrong. I apologized, and she pointed to my "student" labeled nametag, asking what I was studying. I said English. I'm a math major. FML

it happens to anyone. you probably were rushed and everyone makes a mistake. as long as youre not the next albert einstein.... youre fine

WOW. What a way to use the reason of English major as an excuse. Just so you know, we know how to do basic math.

I'm not an English major, but that pisses me off nonetheless. Maybe you should change yours, if you can't even get 5th grade level math right!!

Ummm maybe try being honest?? It seems to work well for people.....

It could happen to anyone, math major or not. Don't stress it.

**** that bitch if she had a problem with you... everyone on the planet make mistakes no matter if the pros in the subject (in this case math) or newbies... so next time you see her tell her proudly your a math major and she can kiss your ass...

dont worry dude, everyone knows math majors aren't always good at arithmetic. I make really dumb addition mistakes all the time and I just tell my friends "I'm a math major, not an econ major. I don't use numbers." And its true. Honest to god I use more symbols and way less numbers than the econs. #49 epic win. Though pretty much everyone but two kids in my math class are real nerdy, and those two are major nerds on the inside anyways.
