What game was it? I've heard of it happening, but the chances of it being you seems pretty low. But what are you going to do to prevent it? We all take that risk, I guess. You were just unlucky?
If u have epilepsy the chances are pretty ******* high. Dipshit.
u had a seizure bc i know you were playing [PROTOTYPE]tm and there is so much action on the screen at one time that even Helen Keller would have had a seizure @11 ps3 sucks
PS3 RULEZZZZZ!!!!!!
Seizures from playing video games are really rare. But doctors still want you to sit as far away from the screen as possible, in a well lit room, and take a fifteen minute break every hour. I don't really do any of those tho... But anyway, FYL
You are a lame. Epic fail.
So having a seizure makes you lame?
HA! This made me giggle. But seriously, I always wondered about those warnings too. I didn't think that anything like that could actually happen. My friend gets motion sickness and can't play video games, so I guess I should have known. They don't make that stuff up.
At least you weren't watching Battling Seizure Robots.
First of all, you CANNOT have a seizure unless you have a seizure focus, (which is what causes epilepsy in it's varying degrees of severity) so these games can't cause someone with a normal healthy brain to have one. Second, if the op has a seizure focus and his brain was already stressed (such as from not enough oxygen to the brain from low blood pressure or whatever, or lack of sleep) a video game that has the warning could absolutely trigger a seizure. Third, you usually completely recover from a seizure in mere minutes after you regain consciousness. You just feel a bit woozy for a bit. And to the op, now you know you have a seizure focus. If you have health insurance an EEG can tell u how severe it is (it's probly extremely mild if this was your first one so thats not really all that important), and an MRI can tell you if there is an underlying factor such as a cyst or tumor aggrivating your seizure focus. Whew! I feel like I'm on ask the doctors or something! Lol. If u do have any questions comment them on your post ha ha
How Can You Get A Seizure from a videogame and what cause a seizure from a video game And so true # 27 Lol.

Heed the warning, bro. They don't make this shit up.
When will people remember this? Just because ALL THE FMLs AUTOMATICALLY start with "Today", it doesn't mean that they happened the same day! Anyway, that sucks a lot, especially if you're a big gamer - I'd be bummed if it were me. I'm curious about what game it was now, though.
