Cats and Cars

Today, I had to take my cat to the vet. On the way there, he managed to get out of his cage, climb into the front seat, onto my chest, and howl in my face as I tried to drive down the highway. I ended up with stitches and still got charged for missing my cat's appointment. FML

Very smart cat... Managed to not only get out of going to the vet, he punished you for trying to take him OP.

Haha, I was expecting it to be one of those stories where OP was letting their pet just chill in the car, which would've been an instant YDI, but the cat was actually in a cage and still managed to get out? Impressive! FYL OP, hope the scratches are just from the cat rather than getting in an accident..

Cats, adorable to look at, evil masterminds behind your back.

So your cat mauled you while driving? Did it know you were going to vet or does your cat not travel?

Smart cat. Pay back for taking him to the vet.

That cat is Purrrr Evil. Huh Huh, Right, Anyone.....Ok I guess I will just go and jackoff

This is awful and FYL but I cannot stop laughing. Cats are awesome.

Well cats do not howl and cats are evil!

This makes me laugh at the visual I get. Hope both you and your cat are ok. Why didn't you stop and put her back in though?

At a guess, is say there was nowhere safe to pull over at the time.

Why would you get charged for an appointment you didn't make it to and that the vet never had to do?

Because they had that appointment slot saved for you. It's not like they can find another person to fill it if you don't show up, it's too late at that point. So instead of just not getting paid, they charge you a fee for taking up their time. It's the same as human medical offices.

I would just be thankful that stitches is all I ended up with.
