Today, I woke up to find both of my bank accounts frozen. My bank informed me that the IRS had ordered a freeze on my assets because of back taxes owed, and would not unfreeze them until the money is paid. The amount? $2.47. FML

Mine is frozen cause we got married last year and H&R block forgot to scan in the marriage license. but just our refund my bank account is fine. fyi op you need an appointment to go to your local irs officr

I agree with dwcuzz the IRS doesn't do things like this it like this unless this is the tail end of a long and convoluted tax recovery process where you were reticent or confrontational get them on the phone because this is some kind of mistake, got the wrong guy?
