Comfortably…

Today, I had a tooth pulled. An hour or so later, I removed the gauze from my mouth, because I thought the bleeding had stopped. I got on my laptop. A few minutes later I looked down, to see that I had drooled blood all over the keyboard, and didn't know because my mouth was numb. FML

Unfortunately I didn't feel it on my hands, because I have a wireless mouse. Therefore my hands weren't on the keyboard.

not true. i had 4 teeth removed in one day and the dentist said i could take the gauze out in one hour. i took it out in hour and fell asleep because of the pain medicine. i woke up to what looked like a murder scene in my bed, with blood on my pillows, sheets, shirt, and mouth. i ended up having to walk around the house carrying a grocery bag wherever i went because i would have to spit out the gauze almost every half hour because it would fill up with blood.

Didn't the dentist give you specific instructions on not pulling it out or so? =/ It's definitely YDI for pulling it out and assuming everything would be okay. You have to be cautious..

zach mabry!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????

totally sympathize. I got my wisdom teeth out, dental surgeon said it looked fairly dry and I could take the gauze out in 45 minutes. 5 hours later I was still bleeding and kept having to change the gauze working around a still numb mouth. Sometimes dentists are wrong about how much you'll bleed haha and it blows

If you couldn't feel anything because of the anesthetic, then why didn't you leave it in until the numbness started going away? That's beside the point that there's no reason to get rid of the gauze the moment it stops bleeding anyway unless it's to check something and then replace it with a fresh piece of gauze. Most dentists I've ever met recommended the same. That was completely inane. YDI.

this is only an FML if it ruined your computer. Did it?

this is fake. no one types by leaning so far forward that your head is directly above the keyboard on either a computer or a laptop! douche!

I do. I sit on my bed with my laptop on my lap... does that make me weird..

I do when I type. Right now I'm sitting on a chair leaning over my laptop.

Hahhahahaha. If you picture it, it's actually really funny.
