I think the outcome for me would depend on whether or not she realized I was going for the gun in the side table in time to beat me too it. Buy a one way plane ticket to some backwater eastern european city, and take out every bit of cash you can from the bank account, even drawing cash from your credit card if you have too. cut up the cards and pitch them in a public restroom you've never been to before, so you never use them again. Take the cash and get in the car drive as fast as you can without getting pulled over, using the cash for gas and food. Mexico is a big place and hopefully you can get there before the cops start looking for you. Keep going, I hear Rio is nice this time of year. I am not a lawyer, and this is a bad idea.
Idk why people go threw so much to cheat. If you going cheat just tell the person you with that you don't wanna be with them any more because when you cheat it mean you don't love the person to begin with if you love someone you don't cheat.
I think this is rather a black-and-white view. You may well have been married for 30 years, I haven't, but I don't think cheats always do so because they have stopped loving their other halves. More often I think it's boredom, or being taken for granted, or just wanting to see a little of the excitement that you had before you had jobs and kids and a mortgage. We don't know anything about the OP or his wife. Maybe the wife was just really bored and ignored and the OP never had any time for her. Maybe she's just a cheating bitch. We don't know. However, I don't think not loving your partner is always the reason. And no, I've never cheated so I'm only guessing.
Like some of the others I applaud you for just walking out of there, but maybe she reacted like that because she knew it would freak you out, and I guess it diffused things before violence or anything was involved. Its also very self serving, however, but I suppose thats to be expected from someone who has been cheating: "Quick, lets get him out of here so we can get the tripped and fell story straight!"
who would vote you deserved it sorry man....
