Creepy backyard

Today, I found a pile of animal skeletons scattered in my backyard. It appears that last night, mother nature decided to rain so hard, that the graves of my childhood pets floated back up to the top, and covered half of my field. I now have to pick all of it up before my dog sees them. FML

How many pets did you have?! That's a lot!

...Exactly how many pets did you have (and kill)? o.O

At my/my parents' house we have a (pet) rat graveyard at the bottom of the yard... it would suck if this happened, although I'm not sure how it did, seeing as how it's rained really hard here many times since we started burying our rats down there...

Different soils, maybe? Rats make awesome pets, but we can't have 'em with my ferrets. They're naturally predator/prey, and it would stress all of them out too much. My poor fatty ferret gets stressed easily anyway. He has a bald tail from it. :( Besides, I'd be a wreck, and probably bald myself, if my pets had shorter lifespans than they already do. My ferrets only have a few years left, and they both have "elderly" health issues. Poor ratties are cancer factories, according to my vet tech SIL. :(

How long do ferrets live? That's one of the things you have to get used to with rats, their short lifespans. They do get cancer really easily, but luckily none of our rats ever have. It's sad when they get old though, because they lose a lot of weight and fur. :(

Ohh, that's one of the worst I've read! Poor person!

this is why you cremate your pets, not bury them.
