Today, my new doctor gave me a breast exam and said everything was healthy, before adding "Well, I think so, anyway. I don't actually work here." As I freaked out, he laughed out loud, said he was just kidding, and that he should prescribe me a chill pill. FML

I get so anxious during regular check ups but this was an actual exam...He seriously had no right of such a "joke" especially since you just met him.

That's because of people that get offended. They don't feel they can do stuff like this on the off chance they may get in trouble or sued for something that you or I would just take as a joke or funny.

#72 I had a doctor tell me "sorry I just wanted to grab your junk. the real doctor will be in soon" after a physical. It's just a little comedy during a usually awkward situation.

Omg your doctor is awesome! I don't know how this is an FML. Most doctors are so stuck up you can't find their sense of humor. I would've loved to have someone to make jokes with to take away the awkwardness of the situation.

I know doctors try to be humorous in not-so-light situations *ahem DocBastard* but there's a time and place for everything and this was an inappropriate joke in my opinion.
