Age is nothing but a number . Rules are created saying many things are illegal before you're 18 or 21 , feeling womanly about yourself is something you can't change . If you feel good about yourself and feel you are a women , than you are . You may not appear to be for others, but to yourself you are .. and that's all that matters . Yes , your Dad's response to your response may not have been the greatest way to go, but none the less , what you said isn't exactly mature . Feeling womanly is different than blood coming out of your ****** . Know the difference, than post a Fml . In the mean time YDI for saying he's the immature one , when frankly you seem to be aswell.

If you are an unmarried female, then you are a girl. It is really that simple. Calling an unmarried female a woman emphasizes that she has had sex. Even if chastity or virtue are unimportant to you, this is still not a flattering term.

No... Her father meant maturity wise. Being 18 doesn't automatically mean you're mature, and being 14 doesn't automatically mean you're immature. OP just happened to be immature enough to think that her response was witty and that she was smarter than her dad. I'm just happy her dad *hopefully* taught her a lesson.
