You should take the time to learn what your boyfriend does and does not like instead of assuming he likes the same crap you like.
I'm glad it's been said: not only do you get him something that is clearly for you and NOT for him for your anniversary, but he's come to expect disappointment to the degree that he predicts precisely what you're going to do. Nice. Unless he was being sarcastic, and just happened to hit the nail on the head, I guess.
Hahahaha sounds like you made 3 year anniversary plans for YOURSELF. Way to only look out for number one. tsk tsk.
This, this, and this again. YDI for thinking your boyfriend of 3 years (or any guy for that matter) would enjoy a spa day.
YDI. Way to buy yourself an anniversary present. Unless your man particularly enjoys going to the spa, which you would - I hope - know before three years of dating, that's no gift for a guy.
It took you a month to plan that? wtf!?
you've known the guy 3 years, sheesh, YDI

FYL for already paying for it, but YDI for not knowing what he likes.
Take your best friend and get him something else and just don't tell him about your original idea. It's not that big of a deal. P.S. You'd think after 3 years you'd know if he liked spa days or not.
