Today, I'm meeting my boyfriend's very conservative parents for the first time, so I decided to dress appropriately and curl my hair to match. In doing so, I accidentally touched my neck with the iron, and I now have a burn there that look a lot like a hickey. FML

Today, my mom noticed the hickey that I have on my neck. Embarrassed, I tried convincing her that I burnt myself using a hair straightener. She then told me that that's the same excuse she told my grandma when she got a hickey. FML

Today, I woke up to see that I had two black eyes from a cheerleading stunt gone wrong yesterday. I decided to curl my hair to distract from them. While curling my hair I accidentally burned my cheek. I now have two black eyes and a huge burn on my cheek. My extended family is coming tomorrow. FML

Today, my wife left her curling iron on the bed, which was dangerous enough, but I also accidentally sat on it after my shower. Now I have a burn on the bottom of my balls, which has turned into a painful blister. FML

That happened to me on New year's eve..when my boyfriend came to pick me up e started freaking out thinking I cheated on him or something. It took a while for me to explain it was just the curling iron and junk..I actually had to show him again to make him finally believe..then I had two "hickies". I know how you feel..FYL

Cover it up it a plaster and lie about it saying you got it from doing [insert ur hobbie here]. BAM! They wont think ur a ***** + ensures a conversation and for them to get to know you.
