Wow. You must be a complete idiot if you like using black and putrid crap as laundry detergent. How could you not tell the difference?!?!
the bottle obviously wasn't see-through, or the OP wouldn't have used it
You think you would... or rather wouldn't, notice the bad ass smell of detergent and go, "Oh wait, this isn't detergent. This is a black muck that I don't want in my washer". That's just me though....
nice wig
its just a comforter and whatever shit happens.
Yeah, I'm agreeing with a lot of other posters here. Even if you didn't see what it looked like, oil, especially used oil, has a VERY distinct smell to it. You should have realized it wasn't detergent the minutes you took off the cap. Unless of course you have no sense of smell, in which case you have my deepest apologies.
well for the people saying how can u know the difference: well maybe she didnt look in (like most ppl dont) and poured it in and DID realize but it was too late bc even a little bit of it is gonna leave a HUGE stain. Anyways. FYL indeed. that totslly sux...
i understand the looking in the garage part...we keep lots of extra stuff there too and the accidentally using it part but youre supposed to put the detergent in before the clothes(or whatever else youre washing like your comforter) so you really should have seen it as you were pouring. or if you have a better washer, you should have seen it when you put it into the little separate container area.
Holy mother of ****. To everyone who is saying YDI...what the ****? I keep my washer and dryer in the GARAGE. TIDE and any every freaking other laundry detergent in the world DOES NOT come in a clear container. I for one do not pick up a bottle of Tide and look to see what I'm pouring out. I am expecting it to be Tide, not motor oil. I don't even measure it, I just take off the lid and pour. I can easily see how this happened.
"Well there's your problem..." Don't take everything for granted. Stumbling through everyday tasks is a good way to "get your shit ****** up," wether it's just the wrong laundry detergent, or putting diesel in an unleaded only vehicle, or mixing bleach and ammonia and getting a lungful of deadly chlorine gas... I like to think of it as natural selection.

who looks in the garage for laundry detergent?
Hmm whats the difference between oil and detergent? Oh yes, one is jet black and smells. The other is a mushy blue colour. ******* idiot.
