Today, my father seems to be having an affair. A used condom was carelessly left on his nightstand and my mother found it. She refuses to believe that my boyfriend and I are not responsible. As punishment I am "no longer allowed to see him." We're both 22 and live together in our own apartment. FML

Your are 22, your mommy can't tell you who you can or can't be seeing. If you still listen to everything she tells you, I don't know how your going to survive out in this adult world. Also I would just call your father out on it, since he's dumb enough to cheat and stupid enough to leave evidence.

I could understand if you're 22 and still living at your parent's house she has every right to tell you what to do. But if you live on your own with him, then what your mother says shouldn't matter to you. She is over reacting and being delusional blaming you for something you didnt do.
