Today, I was driving in my very own car that I bought and paid for myself, when I stopped at a stop light. Then I noticed the truck in front of me turn on his reverse lights. I honked desperately. He hits me, looks out the window and says, "I see no damage" and drives away. FML

Why is everyone so against "Proceeded"?

It's okay as a word by itself. Technically, there's nothing wrong with the word. It's just that if you look through a page of FMLs, 9/10 have the word "proceeded" in them at least once. I think people think it makes them seem fancy, but it's no better than "started" or "began." It's like a big "proceeded" hype on FML.

Happens a few times. That's why I always stop a bit back from the car in front, especially if its a big one or on a hill.

dude i feel your pain...i was rear ended 6 times in my high school parking lot, most of the time they stopped though, except for the only one that did any damage. ****** just drove off like its no big deal. that is one of the few things that just enrages me, when people have a complete disregard for peoples cars and shit and damage them and drive off. i wouldve chased his ass down and called the cops.

#32, im not against it, but i swear theres a conspiracy everyone tries to fit it in there FML as much as possible.. bastards..

What a bastard. This is why idiots don't need to drive.

@22: History may repeat itself, but this website isn't supposed to. Moderation rules say to "refuse an FML if a similar one already exists on the site".
