"I proceeded honk desperately"? Double fail for using "proceeded" and for forgetting the "to".
Please say you got his license plate!!! What an asshole! I hope he didn't actually damage your car and that you don't have whiplash or anything! My little brother spent four years working to save up for his (second-hand, but decent) first car, then got laid off and got a new job as a courier. Within the first six months, he was hit three times, each accident increasingly worse. The third one totalled his car, and it was a hit-and-run, too. His car was T-boned, luckily from the passenger side (he was the only one in the car) by someone running a red light, and my brother's car was half its width after. He's lucky he survived, but he lost his car, and because he was a courier, also his job. The insurance claim didn't even come close to giving him enough money for a new car, and he was so depressed for so long. I really hate people who hit other people in a manner which is clearly their fault and then don't have the balls to give your their stats in case there WAS damage! PS: #73, you're a dick. Whiplash and other neck injuries take some time to set in!
120% agree with #1 "proceeded" is waaaaay overused these days and some people need a thesaurus.
#12 - you're an idiot. What's wrong with proceeded? To big of a word or what?
Maybe you're ugly and he meant no added damage to your face. ^w^ ...Kidding. And the word proceeded is getting to be annoying. FYL.
#82... "proceeded to" is what people say to sound smart, when they actually can't think of a more appropriate term. see also: utilize.

"...my very own car that I bought and paid for myself..." lol, someone's learned from comments on past FMLs.
Hope you got his license plate number
