I've had an art show. No one bought a thing, which the gallery owner told me was the norm. If you'd prefer your work be stolen, then maybe it isn't good enough to hang in your own living room.
Don't feel sorry for yourself, you should be glad your art wasn't stolen.
Well its really good news and bad news I guess....
So, how much are you prepared to pay me to take your shitty "art" off your hands? The art thieves established that the market value of your "art" is zero or negative, so make me an offer.
I agree with #2 burglars don't steal art to decorate their house they steal it for the resale value and as a new artist you didn't have that but be happy that your hard work didn't get stolen and that you have the whole show for yourself
Don't worry, you're just starting out, so your name isn't known yet. One day you'll be famous enough to have you art stolen.
Keywords
"today, my stuff wasn't stolen. FML"
Seriously? You're lucky your hard work didn't get stolen so quit whining. For all you know, the burglars didn't take your art because by the time they reached yours, the alarm went off and they had to make a run for it, not because your art wasn't good.
