Today, my boss asked me how my parents' divorce affected me as a child. This is a sensitive subject, but I thought he was trying to connect with me so I told him how much it hurt. Turns out he wants to leave his wife and wanted to know if his kids would turn out "messed up" because of it. FML

At least he cares how his kids are going to turn out due to his actions. Not an FML.

He's asking the wrong person. He should ask someone whose parents never divorced.

who moderates these FMLs.. this isnt an FML

Now he knows how messed up his kids will be through you.

my parents seperated because of my birth...lolololololol

HAHAHAHA. Oh goodness. LotR for the win.

Nice. Thanks to the person who said "LotR" so that I could finally remember where I knew the word "ents" from. XD

Well at least you know he loves his kid :D and you shouldnt say how much it hurts. Dont get pity. Pity is worthless and will get you no where in life :D

Amusing story, but not really an FML, unless you're saying he considers you to be messed up and wants to know if it was the divorce that made you that way. In which case, you weren't very clear. And it's still not much of an FML!

Well, it was a good question that was asked by the boss. It seems that the OP would rather be self centred than help some other poor children avoid the same fate.
