Today, mom told my new baby brother that he's her favorite. I know where I stand. FML
Ouch!!! That's a tad bit harsh on the other 2 kids :(
I bought my 3 boys a book called "You're All My Favorites" and read it with them a few times. They don't take it personally when I say your my favorite because I say it to each of them
That made sense.
So first you have a new baby which your kids are probably already upset about because of all the attention it's getting and now you say the baby is your favorite. Damn you just made a bad situation worse. YDI!!!!!
That's going to he hard to explain
everyone on this website is SO judgemental it makes me angry

Hahaha You should, as a parent, know that you're never allowed to say that sentence, dear
Today, I was hanging out with my mother, older brother, and my newborn baby brother. I had been feeling upset and depressed about the new baby because I felt I would be overshadowed by him and I would get no attention. My mother assured me this would not happen and I accepted it. Then she told my baby brother that he was "her favorite." My depression just increased two-fold. FML.
