You can't help idiots.
Know-it-alls are annoying I don't blame them.
He offered his help to other struggling people, he's not being an obnoxious know-it-all. I would have accepted.
Everybody has one. Even you. I bet you have three or four.
Maybe they just wanted to figure it out themselves. I never used to accept help in math because I wanted to do it on my own..it actually worked out better for me like that since some people can be so confusing when they try to help. Unless they said that they don't want to be near you at all, I think you should relax a bit.
I agree, they want to know how to do it themselves, not be spoon fed the answer
They sound mentally defective if they were struggling but didn't want any help from someone who majors on what they were struggling with.
They're beyond help. Let them fail and you'll get to make fun of them afterwards
Maybe it's not that they don't want to be around you, just that being around a math major when they're struggling with math makes them feel stupid. It may have nothing to do with you, personally. They just feel "smarter" if they can figure it out themselves.

At least you offered! If they wanna fail, let them fail!
No, it means OP is intelligent in the mathematical field. However, you sound like a judgmental idiot.
