For her birthday send her mens clothing, like socks, boxer shorts shirts etc. but take out the labels and make sure they wouldn't fit her husband.

For some reason I read pedometer as "peedo-meter" as in something that measures how much of a pedophile you are; but sorry OP your mother in law obviously doesn't care enough about you

Today, my grandpa took out the family for dinner and paid for everyone. He paid the bill and my family and I were waiting by the door. I realised I probably should thank him for dinner.
