I doubt that anyone complaining about the OP has ever experienced anything like medical school. While we feel grateful that we're going, it just takes over your whole life. You're basically paying people to deprive you of sleep and make you work constantly. It's easy to feel despair about it even though you know there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Give him/her a break.
being in that amount of debt due to student loans is much better than have $15,000 worth of debt just because you can't pay off your credit card. i respect you a lot more than than someone who can't stop shopping.
Quit staring at the ground, you emo bitch. You're in medical school. Medical school is expensive. 90% of Dr's are in that kind of debt. So, quit whining and be glad you'll be making six figures for the rest of your whiny life.
Well, if you can make it through med school, you'll have a good career and paid-off loans to show for it!
WTH... nothing to show? YDI x 100

At least you will have a good career once you are done with school!
"At least they have something to show for their debt"? What does that mean? In a few years you'll have a respectable career. A pile of shiny things won't help you earn money the same way a medical degree can.
