double post ftl sorry
#146, I'm assuming you haven't been to college because you seemingly don't understand how depressing it is to be hugely in debt and not have any work. It gets to you after a while, working your ass off for years and not having much to show for it. Granted after OP is done he'll have money, but it gets to you looking at that ever-increasing number that's just going to loom over your head until you die. Plus, I can throw that same argument right back at you. "Look at this guy, making a post about someone on the internet while there are people in other countries who don't even have electricity."
Dont worry. It will all get paid up.
This person should get off fml and stop watching stupid shows to get a job God
Huge difference here! People that are in debt from shopping have nothing but toys to show for it. These people usually are barely making the bills each month. You got into debt to do something with your life, you are the smart one here. After Med school you will be making in one year what you currently owe.
okay to all of the people claiming the OP is an idiot.. he/she is in med school. clearly not an idiot. and thus he/she is most likely smarter than you and will probably end up making more than you. let's face it. and I seriously question the work ethic of those that claim the OP needs to "get a job". Pretty sure most people would appreciate some downtime to watch tv during such a stressful and rigorous academic path. Debt is stressful. OP can complain. No need to be so harsh guys.
College is over hyped. You spend so much money paying for it.
hurray for medical school! it is a lot of money, but it's worth it because you can pay it off in a year or so. :)
I don't care about this bitches problems

At least you will have a good career once you are done with school!
"At least they have something to show for their debt"? What does that mean? In a few years you'll have a respectable career. A pile of shiny things won't help you earn money the same way a medical degree can.
