Are you sure it was him? Is there surveillance at your work? if not, does he know there isn't? You could say there is and possibly get a confession.

Great revenge idea. 1. Buy up all the valve stems at nearby auto parts stores. 2. Buy a valve stem puller. 3. Remove all four of his/her valve stems.
