Today, my mom yelled at me for taking too long at a job interview, and that it was a waste of her time to drive me to it. I just quit my job, moved away from my boyfriend and the coast to help take care of her in Idaho. FML

Smile, laugh it off and remind yourself you have the ability to put her in a retirement home someday and not those good ones. The ones you see on 60 minutes. Also you have the right to legally pull the plug. You may go on enjoying life now

Unfortunately, professional help is expensive, and OP no longer has a job. But it does seem like her mom is suffering from some mental or psychological issue.
