Great seeing you

Today, a friend came to visit me from across the U.S. We spent the majority of the time she was here standing in the rain, at the dog park 20 miles from my house, so she could "make sure her baby poops on time". Basically, I took time off to watch my friend's dog take 6 craps. FML

Holy Sh*t! I'm hoping that was not all at once and that you had to make multiple trips with your friend. How long was your friend visiting? Seems like if he took time to fly across the country to see you that you could've worked in some time together. If it was just a quick trip perhaps next time he should leave the dog at home while he visits. Sorry OP!

And why did you have to go 20 miles to a dog park? Did you not pass any grass along the way? You couldn't just open a door to where you live and keep a plastic bag handy? What makes that dog park special? I want to say YDI. You could have said no to such a long and arduous drive. Unless that park turns the shit into solid gold, that was completely unnecessary and a waste of time.

You've never heard of cities, have you? If you live in a heavy urban area, in an apartment, you very well might not have grass around that your dog can shit on- at least not without a heavy fine if caught.

Have you been to Montana? There is no "20 miles away" that is still in a city in Montana. There are parks, green space, and goddam empty fields everywhere. Literally all over the blasted state. There is, under no circumstances, a reason to drive 20 miles for a dog to poop

how can you say something horrible like that! you saw your friend who crossed the u.s. to see you! it should not matter where you meet or what you do together as long as you are together! lighten up a bit op, you're missing out on enjoying the really important things in life when you only focus on the negative

Dogs are not allowed in the dog park. People are not allowed in the dog park. It is possible that you will see hooded figures in the dog park. DO NOT APPROACH THEM. DO NOT APPROACH THE DOG PARK. The fence is electrified and highly dangerous. Try not to look at the dog park, and, especially, do not look for any period of time at the hooded figures. The dog park will not harm you
