Gullible

Today, my parents pranked me hard. They spent breakfast messing with my head, all to convince me that I was dreaming. I got so excited at finally having a lucid dream that I ran outside in my pajamas, yelling, "Woo-hoo!" and trying to fly. Nothing happened. People saw. FML

How in the world did they convince you that you were lucid dreaming?! Not because I want to know so I can try it on my friends or anything... But actually, though, because that sounds seriously impressive

They are awesome. But they really failed at their child's education.

It's funny how they convinced you, in my dreams, I'm the only one that can tell I'm dreaming.

that's the most adorable thing i've read in a while

By the way..., congratulations OP to your 8th birthday. I hope you will learn to fly next year.

I didn't know kids were allowed on FML...

You realise that it's mainly adults who attempt lucid dreaming, right? Sure, the OP seems rather gullible, or his parents really know how to get inside his head and convince him. Regardless of how, it's a funny story which will be remembered, and I can see why the OP got excited about it.

Ah ha ha sry thats really funny

I noticed you skipped the essential part of this elaborate ruse that was carried out about two decades ago when you were a baby and your mommy dropped you on your head.

It actually started when OP was born. He's been dreaming the whole time and his parents made him think it was real.
