ydi for being a dick about it dane cook has some good jokes and you should be supportive of your brother
Sounds like someone's jealous... Haha
You sound like kind of a dick. Be proud he had the balls to stand up there for an hour, I'm sure it's not that easy. At least he's following his heart. Don't let him in on what you really thought of it. It's a little disturbing you had the urge to heckle him.
This sounds like you both have different idea's about what's considered funny. I doubt if he was really THAT bad he would have been allowed to remain on stage for the entire hour. Even if you found it terrible, don't give him advice on his act unless he asks for it. (yeah I know pretty hypocritical since I just gave unwarranted advice)
Give him some advice, if it doesn't work out, then try to help him. If you know someone funny, tell them to help him a teach him a few jokes aswell.
It's his first gig. Did you expect him to be an expert immediately? Be supportive while he practices and improves his talents.
I agree

You should be supportive of your son no matter how bad his actions are. Confidence is key.
