that sucks, my mom is also the type of dumbass that would do that
Happy Birthday! :)
What ****** up boss fires an employee because mommy told him stuff? You know what I mean? So I guess anyone can call in and LIE to the boss if he/she wants someone fired because they hate that particular employee? I would fight for that, OP. Doesn't the boss have to provide valid reason to fire someone? Nice world WE live in.
Wrongful dismissal suit as your mother is not qualified to diagnose your mental state and your boss cannot rely on her for that.
They can't fire you for having a disability (at least as far as they know). Your mom was stupid, but you can't be fired for something like that.
Really, the boss is an idiot.
FYL for living in New Jersey.
Ted and Lily would've said the same thing
It should seem so obvious that this was a "final straw" that upset management enough to call it quits on the OP. This is most likely one of many things to have occurred that made them choose to label the OP as "not working out" and terminate their employment. Why does no one ever feel any responsibility for actions PRIOR to getting terminated?? I guess that is something that people learn as they grow up. I sit next to a dumbass at my job. He's one step away from getting canned, yet he has no clue as to why. Might be a good idea to start learning about the job you do, and stop acting like a gangsta-punk. We've all seen the "When keeping it real goes wrong" episodes, right?

I'd tell them your mom has no say in the matter, if they don't offer you your job back then tell them it's illegal to fire you based on something your relative says if that fails, file a complaint with the dol
Just explain to your boss that your mom is in a weak mental state.
