lmao your mom is awesome
This FML is a rip off of an old joke.
just remember, this woman raised you ;)
It's mom!! Not mum!!
Yeah.... Where you grew up.... It's different in each country. Don't be so closed minded. You probably don't even know salmonella isn't a fish -_-
Actually, IN MOST PARTS OF ENGLAND it's mum, not throughout the UK. In Wales (and some places in England) it's mam and so on...
In Ireland It's Mam!! So STFU!
You'd think, but you'd really be surprised. In fact, I'm surprised there's only one of this type of comment so far... Damn, I've been around here too long.
And where did the ENGLISH language originate from?? The clue is in the name of the country, that being England! just in case your geography doesn't extend outside your own state so it is MUM not MOM. Mom sounds like a whining git!! I don't recall the native Americans speaking English before we sent you there so I would hazard a guess and say that Mum is the correct spelling and pronunciation!!
Technically they're both correct due to dialects etc etc. I'd reccomend accepting that (or some similar view) or getting ready to do A LOT of shouting at people over the net or in real life...
No It's called maybe dumbasses like you don't understand that some people live in other countries where it's called mum. Do you want me to go get my MUM to help you understand shes a great teacher!
As an English major, let me educate geography boy. If we're talking about dialects, then yes, "mum" is just as good as someone in Boston referring to a "cah". They still spell it "car". Written languages and spoken languages are actually separate entities in societies. Saying "mum" is perfectly fine, typing "mum" is an error, as regardless of your pronunciation of the letter O it's still the letter O. It's a classic case of your teacher telling you not to write a report like you would shorthand a note to friends. And to add a history lesson, our ancestors left Europe to escape oppression and narrow-mindedness... Way to pat yourself on the back, though. Good job, there.
Wait, wait, wait, Emhensley. You're telling me that me typing 'mum' is incorrect? Oh, yeah, good one. This is an example of a difference between British English and American English, they have different spellings sometimes. And I view them as different dialects of the English Language (hence my earlier post) and I suppose that might not be a correct view of it, but it allows me to accept them both as correct.
Hahaha emhensley is dumb, as much as Americans like to think they're the center of the universe, they aren't :)
No it's mum you Aussie hater!! Jks jks but seriously it's mum
This is a half and half situatiom.... You should have jist recooked it but i too would have lost my appetite knowing i almost ate something half cooked.
The people saying cook it yourself, some older people, of which my grandmother is included, seems to think that only she can cook things correctly, I am a 24 year old woman, yet if she is around and I dare try and cook, get had a go at, shouted about how she knows her microwave etc.
Actually, most animal killings for food are painless, but of course, you only ever see and hear the horrible stuff.
it has an oven option, is one of the 1000 watt, oven combination things.
You know this generation haven't played R&B when poison sting = poison attack.
If you can write and post an FML, I would think you could put a chicken in the oven for a few minutes
I can't.

You should have said 'I meant chicken pox!'
Well, you probably should have cooked it again yourself rather than throw it away, but fyl, that's disgusting.
