So she doesn't know much about you. . . her bad for trying to always be right.
Really, the only thing I could think of when I read this (in regards to the teacher) was "what a bitch". A pessimistic one, at that. Anyway, good for you. Continue proving her wrong.
What. A. Bitch. Someone like that had no business teaching. At all.

??? I think this site needs a "your life rocks" option. Your teachers thought you'd fail but instead you went to college, graduated with honors, and now you're headed to grad school. What better revenge is there?
It was not about graduating with honors. It was about the teacher's condescension.
What a rude, condescending bitch. Congrats for graduating with honors and getting into grad school! That's a major accomplishment and your teacher is probably just being a jealous hag. My sixth grade teacher told me I wasn't "college material" and that if I graduated high school, I should just find a "quiet job" for "people like me". Now I'm a Dean's List honors student in college with plans to go to grad school. I wish I could rub it in her face. Success is the best revenge. You've done well; be proud of yourself. :)

then tell her that, and also add that your degree is probably ranked a little higher than an ordinary high school teacher's degree.
that sucks, I'm sorry
