perhaps you should hang your clothes instead of having them in the floor!
he said the cat pissed all over his STUFF. not "the cat pissed all over the clothes I left on the floor". even if the cat didnt piss on his clothes, they would probably stink from being inside a closet for who knows how many hours with a pissing cat.
only a cat would do something tat dumb lol
YDI and FYL for living with your mum
For people STILL complaining about the "word" meow being spelled wrong... What is Onomatopoeia? The noun onomatopoeia is thought to has been first used in around 1577 AD. According to the Oxford Dictionary, the word onomatopoeia originates from the Greek word onomatopoiia meaning 'word-making'. The Merriam-Webster Dictionary reports the onomatopoiia is derived from the Greek onoma 'name' and poiein 'to make'. Definition of Onomatopoeia Onomatopoeia is the formation of a word from a sound associated with what is named (e.g., cuckoo, sizzle). However the word Onomatopoeia can also be used to describe the use of such words for rhetorical effect. For example, in the sentence 'The poet Tennyson used onomatopoeia as a linguistic device' (see example below) It's a made up word to describe a sound. Mi-aow. Thus being the sound a cat makes.
In all fairness the OP's spelling of 'meow' is incredibly similar to the French way of spelling the sound a cat makes, miaou. Perhaps they have a French background. At the same time, even though it is an onomatopoeia, there is an accepted spelling of that sound in American English, and that is meow. If you were saying something to the effect of 'the cat's meow', I don't believe you could spell the word any way you please. Although the word was originally an onomatopoeia, it appears to have been standardized, and in more formal documents I would recommend spelling the word the traditional way, rather than the author's interpretation. Perhaps there are those who do not agree, but as you can see, spelling it in a different way clearly detracts from the writing at hand, as half of the comments have been regarding the spelling rather than the FML itself.
