Today, I nervously introduced my mother to my new boyfriend. I had to sit and watch her flirt with him for an hour. When I took her in the other room and confronted her about it, she said, "Don't you dare ruin this for me!" FML

She did hear when you told her he was your boyfriend, right? That's cold of your mum though, especially asking you not to ruin it for her when she's ruining it for you. You need to have a long talk with her about it, because you might find yourself not trusting her with any boyfriend you might have in the future.

If your bf flirted back, he might have just done that in order for your mum to like him and most probably didn't mean anything with it. Therefore don't do what ppl here advise you (apart from keeping future bfs away...)
