Kids…

Today, I went to my new job at a pre-school. I was really excited because everything was going so well, and a little boy even said he was drawing a picture of me. He even gave it to me when he was finished. Well it was me, but I was also on fire and being stabbed and shot multiple times. FML

Wow, I'd be talking to that kid's parents.

Yeah, talk to the parents. That was entirely inappropriate. Some action needs to be taken before he grows up too much on that path!

@ #12 - I don't care if you've raised five kids. If your kids think that's normal, then I think you may want to re-evaluate your parenting methods.

Yeah just give the drawing to the parents

Preschoolers do not have thr motorskills to draw such things....did he tell you what he drew? I'm guessing he did for the sake of this not being fake because like I said, preschoolers don't quite have the motorskills to draw accurately yet....

Sounds like that kid has some mental issues

I agree with #1. Maybe he's seeing something on TV he shouldn't, or watching Dad/big brother play violent video games. That's disturbing.

I agree with 39, this just doesn't sound real.

fake, this was on an episode of desperate housewives. a kid made a picture of the teacher matching that exact description. thought someone else would have noticed.

CallingAllFakes, you are dumb - thought you would have noticed that by now. Also, Desperate Housewives sucks. This is actually pretty common behavior among children who are emotionally or psychologically abused by their parents or other authority figure. This child may actually have Asperger's or warning signs of sociopathy (which can't be fully diagnosed until 18). By pre-school, children are capable of drawing figures and should totally be including extremities, digits, a neck, and facial features by this time. It's unlikely that the child would be able to communicate exactly WHY he drew this, but speaking to the administrators and counselors at the school (before approaching the parents) is prudent. Have the children do another drawing exercise and see what he draws. I know this was a long response, but this is something that can totally be helped with the proper attention.
