that's just how little boys are i spend all of my free time drawing war and death in great detail through most of my childhood its just what were geared towards it isn't a reflection on you or the boy. men and boys love combat, you cant fight a millenia of genetic disposition. its not having those feelings and urges that makes a person sick in the head its the inability to control those feelings, and drawing is a good outlet as well as... wait for it .... VIDEO GAMES .... they are an excellent outlet for excess aggression and stress and to all you mothers out there who say video games make kids violent then please explain all of human history where there was plenty of violence if not one hell of a lot more and no video games. you people have the equation backwards violent games don't create violent people, people ,who are violent by nature, create violent video games
Have you guys ever seen Looney Tunes? Or Ninja Turtles? You know, the shows that you watched when you were around the same age as this kid? At that age every kid knows what the basic shape of a gun or a knife is thanks to the TV shows that we raise them on. I remember getting in trouble for playing Power Rangers in preschool all the time because we pretended to have weapons. I don't think it was all that uncommon, either, because there were always at least 3 or 4 other kids arguing over who got to be the green ranger. This isn't a sign of being a sociopath or any other personality disorder, it's a sign of being a kid.
That's not a normal thing for a preschooler to do.
HAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAA. What an awesome kid!

Hi, i'm a kindergarten teacher. You need to talk to the principal of that school who will then talk to the teachers. Children act out scenarios that are familiar to them. It is your job as a teacher to observe them and report to the appropriate staff if you see something that a child should not be exposed to.
I agree with everyone that for a kid in first grade, age 7, playing violent games and interest in war and all of that is completely normal. But for a 3 year old it's not. Not even close.

Wow, I'd be talking to that kid's parents.
Yeah, talk to the parents. That was entirely inappropriate. Some action needs to be taken before he grows up too much on that path!
