Kinda sus

By embarrassed - 03/07/2010 07:14 - Australia

Today, I went out with my boyfriend and thought I'd wear two bras under my singlet-top to make my chest look bigger. Upon leaving Target, one of the security guards noticed the extra straps and accused me of shoplifting. I had to spend the next 20 minutes explaining the situation to security. FML

gosh, like that person is going out with your boobs... I personally don't think that

Aww, that's embarrassing. I avoid thick bras because they feel fake, but with the way some shirts are cut, sometimes you just have to be padded. Hopefully you bought a push-up while you were shopping. :)

lol.. I love the bullshit law advice you get on sites like this.. sorry folks.. you can't sue because a security guard accused you of shoplifting.. it's their job.. sadly while the law says "innocent until proven guilty" it's the other way around.. the guards had reason to believe she was stealing, therefore they are allowed to ask you.. op didn't say they stripped her down, she said they questioned her.. that's their job.. if they could only question people they SAW shoplifting, they would easily miss 3/4 of the shoplifters they have...

hah ydi for trying to be someone you're not.. but that's sick that the security guard probably just wanted to be a perv.. again ydi, but I feel sorry for you hah

Just wanted to say that what the security guard did was illegal. Unless he actually saw you putting on a 2nd bra, he had no grounds to stop you AT ALL!

So unless you actually see a person shoplifting, you're not allowed to stop them? LOGIC FAIL! Case in point, a lot of stores require that you check all larger bags at the door. Another case in point, we have security checkpoints at airports and other places for a reason. Another case in point, security guards at pretty much any location are allowed to ask to inspect your purse or do a pat-down search or a wand search if you set off a metal detector. They don't need definite evidence of wrongdoing, they only need a suspicion. I think this goes without saying, but... DUH.

Two bras would make them appear flatter, not bigger.

Target has security guards? Not in my town... And seriously OP, thats just plain stupid of you. Each guy has his own tastes, but I'm pretty sure ALL of them would prefer that you DON'T lie to them about the size of your boobs.
