Today, my daughter continues to have acne breakouts. She’s no longer a teenager, which means she isn’t washing her face. I can’t believe I raised someone who ignores her hygiene to this point. FML

you know, some people with great hygiene are unlucky enough to still be prone to acne. in pretty sure she doesn't enjoy waking up to zits everyday. fml for her, not you.

I wash my face every day and still get the occasional breakout and I'm pushing 40. maybe try being a little less judgemental and be supportive of your child instead?

You're an idiot. Lots of adults have acne. Moron.

Um, I’m 27 going on 28, have good genes and great skin, amazing products, a strong morning & nightly skin care routine, and I still get the occasional breakouts / hormonal flare ups. It’s ******* life

Acne is a bit more complicated than just washing the face. Some people have hormonal inbalance that can cause acne outbreak. Other times, acne shows up with the period. Have a talk with a dermatologist or an endomcrinoogist and see if they can find if there is an underlying issue.

That's not how acne works. I can go weeks without properly washing my face and all that will happen is my skin will get a little dry and flakey. And oftentimes when I'm on my skincare game I will get a breakout here and there as my skin turns over. Maybe learn a single thing about what you're whining about and stop judging your daughter so damn much. ******* walnut.
