Today, after weeks of agonising, I told my best friend (who I am madly in love with) that I loved her. She said, "Me too, you're like a brother and a best girlfriend rolled into one!" FML

@ #15 Yup, exactly right. I got rejected by my good friend of over 3 years and all I got told by a mutual friend was 'You win some, you lose some. Plenty of hot girls out there.' When I told him I'd stoppped eating properly and had lost over 20 lbs in weight, he told me to stop lying for attention seeking. I wasn't lying. Saying 'there's plenty of fish in the sea' to someone who's been rejected by someone they love is one of the worst things you can possibly say, period. I was rejected by her 8 months ago and I'm only just starting to come to terms with it. If someone's THAT special to you, 'other girls' just aren't going to make you feel any better.

welcome to my world mate, sometimes in life the best thing to do is ignore your fellings only then you truly understand life and if u truly love something then go for it. Theres nothing worse in life then wondering "What if" what if u asked her out b4 u got close with her. Good luck, sometimes having a Girl and a close if not best friend can be one of the best things. Dont let your fellings get in the way of ur judgment oh ye and #84 eat a dick.

I have to agree, the best thing is to get away. I told my friend I loved her (and I did. so much I would have taken a bullet for her) she didn't feel the same. I went through a depression that was living hell. the worst is she and I don't talk anymore. haven't for years. don't make my mistake.
