Today, I had to explain to my Romanian colleague that, no, a cat flap is not a euphemism for a vagina. FML

Now it is. You can't make me not use it.

On behalf of FML commenters, please thank your Romanian colleague for giving us this delightful new euphemism. Cat flap. Heh heh.

And, after looking on Urban Dictionary, cat flap has been referring to a ****** since at least 2008. Who knew!?

What's the relevance in the fact that he's Romanian?

#19 I believe that specifying the nationality of the person is less ignorant than just saying "foreign".

19- The fact that s/he is foreign makes it understandable that s/he doesn't understand some English. It's very relevant...

Perhaps by suggesting English was not the colleague's first language, so he/she was unfamiliar with English/American idioms and slang.

Were skunks sneaking into your cat flap at night? Personally, I have had that happen to me before.

Oh yes, us Romanians make everything into a euphemism. it's a blessing...

My niece wanted to see hairless cats, so she googled "bald kitties"...I guess that's another euphamism for vaginas.
