I'm a Twilight fan, but I agree. I think this is probably fake. Or insanely exaggerated. That whole "and I walked out in the sun" and the choice of the word "sparkle" was just setting it up.

aha! you caught me! I'm actually a highly paid publicity agent, trying to ruin the only site that didn't mention Twilight a lot, thus doing my job for free! You could believe that, or you could believe this: I'd heard of Twilight, but I've never read or seen it and I had no idea Edward Cullen sparkled. I swear I saw sparkles on my skin today, and I'm pretty sure it's from the body wash. I can't explain why you don't sparkle after using it -- I don't have to try. But honestly, you jumped to a big conclusion there and it was weird of you to do so.

Have you seen the lolcelebs blog thing? That's like all there is. It's on other websites too. People randomly start "Let's make fun of Twilight some more" boards. Really, the horse is dead, let's all move on and make fun of something else. Really. Oh, and MJ tributes. Good God, I could just puke.

Yes, Edward is a very controlling character and Jacob is manipulative for girls to be reading about and thinking "OH HE'S PERFECT", but not liking something just because everyone else does is just as bad, if not worse, as liking something just because it's popular. You've admitted that the books were okay and now you hate them because you want to be "original" and that's sad.
