What's the point in fighting over the internet about a book? People are entitled to their opinions. ps. poop. Some people stole the jokes I was about to say. :D

Ugh, I really hate the OP for starting this discussion. If you are reading this, you are an arsehole for restarting this absolutely retarded excuse for a childish argument. That said, time for my opinion. Twilight is a poorly written book. Bella is a Mary-Sue character. It is sexist, Edward is clearly an incredibly abusive boyfriend, the characters are shallow and Stephenie Meyer clearly has done no research whatsoever and the book has some of the worst 'moral messages' ever. (The one I hate personally has to be 'Its ok to threaten suicide if I want someone to love me") Despite this, die-hard fans yearn for a boyfriend like Edward. If they want to be abused by a corpse, let them. They'll realise what's wrong with it eventually. Normal fans or people who dislike it tend to be nice people, they realise the inherent faults of the series and usually won't mind criticism. Haters of the book are at least, if not more, retarded than the die-hard fans. They complain and complain and complain until you just cease to care, you're willing to defend the book just to get them annoyed, even if you agree with them in the first place. They are noisy dipshits who constantly plague the internet with their arguments even though people have generally conceded their points a long, LONG time ago. These are the people I've had the most experience with. These are the people I'm most disgusted with, because I really hate the Twilight series, and they're making people like me look bad.

Honestly, I thought of Twilight when I read this =] I love it. Just because other people don't doesn't mean you need to be so rude! It's a book, calm down.
