Today, I wore my cheerleading uniform to my boyfriend's house. He was a nerd in high school and mentioned a fantasy about hooking up with a cheerleader. I started acting sassy and a little mean, figuring he would enjoy a more realistic experience. Apparently not, because he started to cry. FML

Today, my boyfriend complained all day about being bored, so wanting to cheer him up, I put on some sexy clothes and went to his house. I got on his bed in my underwear and called him over. He quickly decided he'd rather play Diablo for the next five hours instead. FML

Well, I imagine that he was called names and such in high school, and when he he mentioned a cheerleader fantasy, I don't think he thought he'd be getting the stereotypical 1990s bitchface cheerleader stereotype.

Gotta say - not all women like men who are filled with nothing but machismo. It gets irritating. Personally, I like to relate to my partner, and having someone who can be both strong and sensitive is key. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a man crying. However, I'm going to have to go with the crowd and say that this is strange that he started crying in this situation. Unless the OP was incredibly mean. Still, she should have asked him more details about his fantasy, particularly since she intended to be cruel. The type of role-play where cruelty is involved is usually one that people discuss beforehand, and rightfully so. Part of me feels as though the OP and her boyfriend might have just gotten out of high school. She sounds very young and, from the described reactions, so does he. He should have asked her to stop because she was making him uncomfortable and unhappy.
