grow a set & get off the meds. try alcohol instead, works for me :)
That happened to me too. It put quite a bit of strain between me and my girlfriend (and there were other side effects too, like constant nausea and increased appetite), so I stopped taking them, cold turkey. It was pretty stupid, but everything went back to normal almost straight away. I hope you manage to find a solution - anti-depressants SUCK.
An evil side effect of anti - depressants. Try another
Yeah, as some others have said, this is a very common problem with anti-depressants, so don't feel it's just you. I would give it a few weeks because it might just get better on its own once your body adjusts; I had a similar experience when I first started using anti-depressants, and then again when my doctor put up the dosage, but after a few weeks things were back to "full working order", so it speak. If it continues, talk to your doctor and get them to switch your meds. A lot of people think that bad side effects are just something they have to put up with if they need the benefits of medication, and in the majority of cases that just isn't true. Anti-depressants in particular are much better than they used to be, and there are many more different kinds. A lot of people still have a very out-dated view - which isn't necessarily your fault, OP, some doctors aren't that great at explaining all this. I had to figure some of it out on my own. Best wishes to you, anyway, and I hope you find some medication that will work well for you :)
Yea but when you keep going and finally do orgasmn it's like the best high ever! And I felt so happy afterwards. (I used to take anti depressants and it had the same effect).
I have totally been there! Perhaps try a different medication? Maybe all anti-depressants don't have that side-effect. You should talk to your doctor about it. No use being unhappy about it if there's a another option out there.
