Be thankful that you have a job
These are the minimum wages for Australians, meaning OP that you are younger than 17, therefore you are a casual employee. Under 16 years of age $5.71 At 16 years of age $7.34 At 17 years of age $8.96 At 18 years of age $10.59 At 19 years of age $12.80 At 20 years of age $15.15 let me tell you this, as a casual employee on public holidays you get double-time-and-a-half, so actually, instead of bitching about only getting $8.70/hour you are in fact getting paid $21.75/hour on those 4 days, do your research.
I have to work all those days too, and I only get 8.25
Quit. You can't put up with shit like that, not to mention the terrible wage... I get over double that on a standard day in retail and even more on public holidays - and I'm 17! ... Thank **** I live in Australia.

Actually you'll get double time. And I get 12.80 an hour standard at 17 years old.
